Unemployment in Greece is at 18 percent, but it’s at 35 percent for people between the ages of 15 and 29. But many Greeks are more-heavily invested in real estate than financial markets, so they’ve retreated to their land as a last line of economic defense. The agricultural sector added 32,000 jobs from 2008 to 2010, one of the only sectors to show growth.
