Green Day’s Armstrong Enters Rehab

Time to exit the boulevard of broken dreams and enter rehab. Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong is going to into treatment for substance abuse after a profanity-laced rant at the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas this weekend. On Friday, Armstrong said “Fuck this shit” after a one-minute warning appeared and followed it up by saying “I’m not fucking Justin Bieber.” He continued to rail against the time limit and eventually smashed his guitar before storming off stage. Despite the rehab stint, Deadline reported Monday that Armstrong will still mentor on NBC’s singing competition The Voice. Green Day is releasing three albums this fall, the first of which, ¡Uno!, drops Sept. 25.
