The tragedies resulting from Tropical Storm Agatha are piling up. Alongside the hundreds of deaths across Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras from floods and landslides, an enormous crater in downtown Guatemala City swallowed whole a three-story building. The 200-foot sinkhole appeared as the city took a beating from Agatha's torrential downpours. Witnesses confirmed that at least one man was in the building when it fell, and others are missing. The death toll from the storm is rising across Central America, and many fear that the damage done to Guatemala and El Salvador's coffee crop will derail both nations' economies.
