Gunmen from a Somalian Islamist insurgent group attacked a bus in northeastern Kenya on Saturday, killing 28 people. Nineteen men and nine women who were non-Muslims were singled out, removed from the bus and killed, according to Kenyan police. The Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack via a radio station, claiming the attack was in retaliation for Kenyan forces’ raids on four mosques in Mombasa.
