Hackers breached Planned Parenthood's databases and released private employee information Sunday night, as a manifestation of their opposition to the group's abortion practices. They say they plan to release internal emails soon. “Trying to mold an atrocious monstrosity into socially acceptable behaviors is repulsive,” a hacker named E. told the Daily Dot. “It'll be interesting to see what surfaces when [Planned Parenthood] is stripped naked and exposed to the public.” The FBI and Department of Justice are investigating the hack. Planned Parenthood's Chief Information Officer was previously unaware of a serious breach. "We think we have really good security, especially on flagging suspicious behavior,” he said. The group has been attacked in recent weeks by right-wing activist videos misrepresenting its services and actions.
