Famed political pontificators Mark Halperin and John Heilemann will likely depart from Bloomberg following the 2016 elections, the news organization’s owner Mike Bloomberg reportedly said during a recent meeting, according to the Huffington Post. Halperin and Heilemann are the authors of Game Change and Double Down, political insider-heavy accounts of the last two presidential elections. They were hired by Bloomberg in 2014 to host a show called With All Due Respect and bring increased visibility to the outlet’s digital efforts. The pair will likely leave the outlet to write a tell-all book on the 2016 election, but Bloomberg insiders also reportedly indicate the network did not intend to renew their contracts.

A Bloomberg spokesperson, however, said in a statement: “With All Due Respect is a valuable part of our lineup. We’re very pleased with the show’s performance and the great work that Mark and John are doing throughout this election.”
