Hamas Holding 126 Israeli Hostages, Israel Defense Forces Says

The Israel Defense Forces said the country has confirmed 126 Israeli hostages in Gaza, according to The Guardian. That number is separate from the various hostages of other nations. Thousands of people have died since the conflict escalated last week, including more than 1,300 Israelis and more than 2,300 people in Gaza. Of those, Hamas has claimed that 13 hostages were killed by Israeli airstrikes, though it’s unclear where those hostages are from.
