Harold Camping, the California radio preacher who predicted a May 21 rapture, suffered a stroke last Thursday, according to The Oakland Tribune. The 89-year-old survived, but it may impact his radio show: "His speech appears to be a little bit slurred but otherwise he's OK,” says a neighbor. “The only thing that's affected is his speech." Since May 21, Camping has been saying the rapture will now occur on October 21.
