According to Harry Reid, the likely crop of potential 2020 Democratic presidential candidates looks more like a home for the elderly. Unsure whether he’d support a Biden challenge against Donald Trump, the outgoing Senate minority leader reportedly told an aide, “It depends on who’s running,” according to a New York magazine profile. “We’ve got [Elizabeth] Warren; she’ll be 71. Biden will be 78. Bernie [Sanders] will be 79,” the retiring pol reportedly lamented. “It appears we’re going to have an old-folks’ home,” he quipped. Vice President Joe Biden teased reporters this month that he will run in 2020, later saying he has “no plans” to do so.
