Prince Harry took time out from his official duties in Rome today to take a guided tour of the city's most famous landmark, the Colosseum, dressed casually in a pale blue checked shirt and jeans.
Harry, 29, made a tour of the ancient circus while it was open to the public, and briefly became the star attraction at the 2,000-year old venue where gladiators once fought to the death.
Unlike his granny, Harry does carry cash, and paid for his own ticket and those of his staff.
Several visitors who were there at the same time posted photos on instagram, as observed by our old pals at H Wales Watch.
