Hastert to Plead in Hush Money Case

Written agreement to be entered in court Monday.

Former Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert has reached an agreement to plead guilty to charges that he offered $3.5 million in hush money for silence about past wrongdoing. While details are not yet available, lawyers said a written agreement has been worked out and that it will be entered in court Monday.
