Joint Iraqi Air Force and Kurdish missions are dropping loads of food and supplies and picking up helicopters full of persecuted Yazidis from Mount Sinjar in Iraq. Stuffed with as many people as possible, the flights are flying over ISIS positions to assist the trapped people. As reported by CNN, "heroic" machine gunners aboard the aircrafts exchange fire with ISIS militants on the ground during each rescue mission.
