Authorities in Argentina believe they have found the largest collection of Nazi artifacts in the nation's history, inside a hidden room in a house near Buenos Aires. The 75 pieces include a macabre medical device used to measure head size, magnifying glasses inside boxes with swastikas, a large statue of the Nazi Eagle above a swastika, a Nazi hourglass, a box of harmonicas, and a bust relief of Adolf Hitler. Authorities believe the objects belonged to high-ranking Nazis during World War II, after which Argentina became known as a refuge for fleeing war criminals. “Our first investigations indicate that these are original pieces,” Argentine Security Minister Patricia Bullrich said. She noted that some of the objects were with old photographs. “This is a way to commercialize them, showing that they were used by the horror, by the Fuhrer. There are photos of him with the objects.”
