Bernie Sanders won his home state of Vermont, Oklahoma—where he campaigned vigorously in recent weeks—and the Minnesota and Colorado caucuses. Heading into Super Tuesday, the former secretary of state held substantial leads in the Southern states that she won. However, Sanders’s Colorado victory came as a surprise, considering Clinton’s recent polling lead in the Centennial State.
