Hillary’s Benghazi Emails Revealed

OPEN UP

No “stand down” order.

Those reviewing Hillary Clinton’s personal emails after the attack on an American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, didn’t find any “stand down” order from the secretary of state, as had been rumored by Republicans since 2012. Anonymous officials described the contents of the emails given to the House panel on Benghazi to The New York Times. Instead, exchanges were seen between Clinton’s private email account and other staff on their personal email accounts, “raising questions about her recent assertions that she made it her practice to email aides at their government addresses so the messages would be preserved, in compliance with federal recordkeeping regulations.” Other emails show that Clinton aides were relieved that ex-UN Ambassador Susan Rice shielded Clinton from much of the negative blowback.
