Hollywood Comes Out For Gay Marriage: Lena Dunham, J.K. Rowling, and More Praise SCOTUS Decision

On Friday, the Supreme Court legalized gay marriage for all Americans. And many of Hollywood’s biggest names celebrated accordingly.

This morning, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of love, with a 5-4 vote declaring gay marriage legal in all 50 states. By coincidence, the ruling happened just two days before the 46th anniversary of the Stonewall riots and in the middle of Pride Month.

Despite the expected haters out there (here’s looking at you, Donald), many celebs took to social media to express their joy and pride that a moment like this had finally come. Though, of course, no such list is complete until the mighty Cher utters her opinion about the subject. According to her Twitter account, she’s “loose in MONTE CARLO” right now, but we seriously can’t wait for her crazed, quasi-coherent, and, most importantly, happy post.
