It could be the things Donald Trump has said about Megyn Kelly. Or his assertion that women should be punished for having abortions. Or his charming habit of referring to an attractive woman as a “beautiful piece of ass.”

Whatever the reason, women voters really, really do not like Donald Trump. Going by an average of five major polls, Trump’s unfavorability rating with American women is far worse than that of any other candidate in the presidential race—and that’s after subtracting each candidate’s favorability from his or her unfavorability.

The Donald’s number: a “yuge” negative rating of -42.8.

Ted Cruz rated second worst, with -22.6, followed by Hillary Clinton with -4.8. Bernie Sanders did better, with +11.6.

Ironically, the candidate at the very back of the pack is the one who came in first with female voters—John Kasich, with a respectable +13.6.

But then, maybe that isn’t ironic. The candidate doing the best with Republicans is the one doing the worst with women.
