The House passed a bill on Tuesday to fund the Department of Homeland Security for the remainder of the year without a demand for President Obama to rescind his executive order on immigration. The vote came in at 257-167, with some Republicans joining Democrats to pass the bill. House Speaker John Boehner told his caucus this morning that he was angered by Obama’s order but the bill is the right decision “for this team and the right one for this country.”
