It’s an issue that just won’t go away: The House is planning to vote this week on a bill to repeal Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. It’s the last best shot for a repeal, and the hope is that the Senate will extend its session into next week in order to send the bill to Obama’s desk. The Senate shot down a repeal that was packaged as part of the Defense bill; however, the new measure is a stand-alone bill.
