House Votes to Ban Confederate Flags at Vets Cemeteries

The U.S. House of Representatives voted Thursday to ban Confederate flags from flying on flagpoles at federal Veterans Affairs cemeteries. The vote, 265 to 159, comes almost a year after the South Carolina state legislature removed Confederate flags from its capitol building following a mass shooting at an African-American church in Charleston.
