Huma Stands By Weiner at Conference

A chastened Anthony Weiner addressed new sexting allegations at a press conference Tuesday, admitting (once again) to bad behavior but refusing to drop out of the NYC mayor’s race. “I’m surprised more things didn’t come out sooner,” Weiner confessed. He also admitted “some of these things happened before my resignation [from Congress in 2011], some happened after.” And in a surprise move, Weiner’s wife, Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, who has never spoken publicly before, took the mic to defend her husband. “Our marriage, like many others, has had its ups and downs. It took a lot of work and a whole lot of therapy. I love him, I believe him, we are moving forward.”
