After 10 years of operation, two Houston employment agencies that allegedly supplied restaurants in seven states with undocumented immigrants were shut down by federal authorities on Thursday. The agencies recruited hundreds of immigrants from Mexico and Central America living in the U.S. to Chinese restaurants across the country. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 32 people, most of whom are legal immigrants from China, and nine of whom face conspiracy charges.
