Saif Gaddafi has been in informal contact with the International Criminal Court, which has urged that he turn himself in. Though Libya’s National Transitional Council reported this week that Gaddafi was looking to turn himself in to the ICC to avoid a death like his father's—at the hands of the NTC—there is also talk of the late dictator’s son attempting to escape any prosecution by hiding out in an African country such as Niger or Mali. If Gaddafi fails to turn himself in, the ICC may go after him itself.
