Austrian officials have stepped up searches for suspected smugglers after 71 refugees died in the back of a truck last week. A spokesman for Austria’s interior ministry said that road-checks have led to the arrest of five suspected traffickers and about 200 refugees. The road-checks also caused a 16-mile traffic jam on the Austria-Hungary border Monday morning.
