MF Husain, the most highly prized Indian artist, died Thursday at the age of 95. Husain was often called the “Picasso of India” for his paintings; he also made two Bollywood films. In 2006, his paintings of nude Hindu goddesses angered hardline Hindus, and he left India to take up citizenship in Qatar. He was in a hospital in London when he died.
