Martese Johnson, who was bloodied during an arrest by Alcohol and Beverage Control at the University of Virginia, plans to plead not guilty in court on Thursday. He is being charged with obstruction of justice and public swearing and/or intoxication. A video of his arrest shows Johnson's face covered with blood from a wound that required 10 stitches. “Moments prior to what the now viral video presents, Martese was polite and well-mannered,” a statement from his lawyer on Monday said. The Virginia State Police are investigating the incident.
