An intruder managed to enter the White House grounds on Friday night but was promptly arrested by Secret Service agents, CNN reported Saturday. The intruder was carrying a backpack and was caught at an entrance to President Trump’s residence. Trump was in the White House at the time of the incident, which occurred around midnight, a source in the Secret Service told CNN. As a result of the intrusion, the Secret Service upgraded White House security to level “orange,” one of the highest levels. No further details on the intruder have been released.
