An Iranian cancer researcher held at Boston’s Logan International Airport since Monday afternoon was denied entry to the United States and sent back to Tehran with his family. Mohsen Dehnavi, 32, holds a visiting work visa that was issued in May and was on his way to Boston Children’s Hospital to work as a visiting scholar when he was detained Monday. Two weeks ago, the Supreme Court upheld parts of Trump’s executive order banning foreign nationals from six Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S.
