Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guard has announced that it foiled a planned suicide attack by the Islamic State terror group that would have been carried out during a coming 10-day Shiite religious holiday. Col. Amin Yamini said the four ISIS members arrested were from Syria. He would not specify when the arrests occurred but said they were preparing to organize 300 people to carry out the violence next week. Earlier this summer, ISIS militants attacked the Iranian parliament in Tehran and attempted a siege of Ayatollah Khomeini’s tomb.
