According to Iraq’s interior ministry, the purported wife of ISIS’s leader held in Lebanon is not in fact his actual wife. Saja al-Duleimi’s identity doesn’t fit with either of the two women known as Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s wives, the ministry said. However, the Lebanese military says it has conducted a DNA test on the boy captured with her and that he is Baghdadi’s son. According to the Iraqi ministry, Saja al-Duleimi is the sister of a man sentenced to death in Iraq for a series of bombings. There has been consistent confusion over who the woman arrested coming from Syria is, but reports indicate that somebody tipped the Lebanese off to her border crossing.
