Hurricane Irene claimed its casualties Saturday in North Carolina, Virginia and Florida. A man in Rocky Mountain, N.C. was killed by a falling tree, and storm winds were blowing around 60 mph at the time. The man was already dead when paramedics arrived on the scene. A second North Carolina man is also reportedly dead from a heart attack. A third person died after driving through water and hitting a tree. An 11-year-old boy was killed in Newport News, Virginia, Saturday afternoon after a tree crashed on her apartment complex. Neighbors said the boy's mother could be heard screaming "where's my baby?" after the tree fell on the apartment complex. Huge waves also killed a surfer in Florida.
