ISIS Using Drones to Film Suicide Videos

The Islamic State has been filming suicide bombings using drones, according to a Wired report that chronicles the militant group's social media efforts. In one case, a suicide bomber appears on camera next to his truck, which is laden with explosives. The bomber hugs his fellow soldiers before the drone takes off above his truck. He drives through an urban block in a Libyan city and detonates himself. The video shows a the destruction from the sky before cutting to footage of someone holding a Samsung Galaxy. That video was reportedly published in January.
