After a hysterics-filled election day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party is coming in neck and neck with the Isaac Herzog’s Zionist Union. Most Israeli TV channel exit polls put the parties at 27 Knesset seats apiece, with the joint Arab list coming in a fairly distant third. Exit polls also suggest that the far-right Yachad party did not meet the minimum votes threshold for seats in the election, meaning that the deciding vote for the 61-seat coalition government minimum may rest in the centrist party led by Moshe Kahlon. Official result tallies, meanwhile, may not be released until Friday.
