Israeli intelligence officers reportedly caught Russian hackers using antivirus software made by Kaspersky Lab to spy on the United States. The Israeli hackers saw Russians scour “computers around the world for the code names of American intelligence programs,” according to The New York Times. The Israelis then alerted the U.S. to the spying attempts, which were reportedly successful in stealing classified National Security Agency documents.
