A photo of the King of Pop lying dead on a hospital bed was shown Tuesday during opening arguments in the trial of Conrad Murray, Jackson’s personal doctor. Jackson’s attorney showed the picture side by side with a photo of Jackson dancing at rehearsal just hours before he overdosed on propofol. "What happened between that time and approximately 12 hours later when Michael Jackson is dead on June 25, 2009?" the attorney asked. Jurors also heard audio of Jackson slurring his words to the point they were incomprehensible. Attorneys attacked Murray’s medical skills and tried to portray his treatment of Jackson as grossly negligent. If convicted, the 58-year-old doctor could lose his medical license and face four years in prison.
