Samuel L. Jackson has already tweeted 57 ways to spell the word motherfucker, and now he’s found a way to put his F bombs to political use. The legendary actor is starring in an upcoming ad in which he tells voters to “Wake the fuck up, vote for Obama,” a riff on his video narration of Adam Mansbach’s children’s book, Go the F--k to Sleep. “It’s definitely going to get attention,” said Mansbach, who wrote the script for the provocative new ad. The Jewish Council for Education and Research super PAC is fronting the money for the project and will air the ad on YouTube on Sept. 24.
