Yale's drama school has always attracted famous, talented actors. Its English department, not so much. But that is where James Franco will be heading to pursue a Ph.D., according to The Yale Herald. Citing unnamed sources inside the English department, the paper wrote that the star of Milk, Pineapple Express, and the Spider-Man series, who recently completed an MFA degree at Columbia, will be reporting to New Haven this September. In addition to his acting career, Franco fancies himself quite the writer. He just penned a short story for Esquire. (Warning: There is 268-word sentence in there.)
