Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett is not amused by President Donald Trump’s submission to Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying the alliance was abundantly obvious after Trump’s joint address to Congress on Tuesday night.
The Democratic congresswoman responded in a colorful fashion after being asked by attorney Joe Gallina’s about what she would say to Trump should she get the opportunity.
“I would tell him to grow a spine and stop being Putin’s ho,” she said.

Crockett was unsparing in her assessment of the peace negotiations between the U.S. and Russia in its efforts to effectively end Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Last Friday’s talks between Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, made it clear that the U.S. and Russia plan to corner Zelensky into making a quick deal.
In talking about the Russian dictator, she said: “That’s all we got right now, is Putin’s little ho that is out here really doing the bidding of Russia in a way we’ve never seen an American president do.”
Crockett referenced the infamous Friday meeting at the White House, accusing Trump of abandoning U.S. allies.

“For those that believe that we should only focus on the United States, this is a focus on the United States,” she said, according to The Hill. “We need a president that understands what diplomacy looks like, and it doesn’t look like the disgrace that we saw that took place in the Oval Office.”
In recent weeks, Trump has taken it upon himself to resolve the conflict between Russia in Ukraine by bullying Zelensky into submission such that this week the White House announced it will pause military aid and intelligence sharing to Ukraine.

Crockett’s criticism of the U.S. president did not end there.
She also condemned the 25 percent tariff he imposed on China, along with U.S. neighbors Canada and Mexico as of Monday. She told Gallina that diplomacy “doesn’t look like s---ing on our allies by telling them we’re going to impose tariffs to the north and the south of us.”
She reiterated the fears that surfaced in the Democratic Party, which were echoed by economic experts, claiming that lumber and steel resources come from Canada so now thanks to Trump housing costs will “go through the roof.”
Not to mention the price of fruit and vegetables from Mexico. Both Canada and Mexico have promised to enact retaliatory tariffs and as Crockett sees it, she “can’t blame” them.
“As people are still complaining about their eggs, now they’re going to have to worry about the rest of their groceries,” she said. “Listen, it is time for him to grow a pair and start to do the work of an American president and stop pretending that he is on some terrible reality TV show that is looking for ratings. I am hoping that America turns off the TV today, and tunes into people like you, because all he does is look for ratings and we shouldn’t give them the attention.”
