The 1984 Summer Olympic torch carried by Bruce Jenner through Lake Tahoe sold at an auction on Thursday for nearly $24,000. The torch is the first major piece of memorabilia to be auctioned off since the 1975 Olympic Decathlon Gold Medalist became Caitlyn Jenner. A Los Angeles-based philanthropist and entreprenuer, who coordinated Jenner's participation in the torch relay, sold the piece of sports history to an anonymous Midwest collector.
