Alex Trebek’s last episodes of Jeopardy! will air as planned, the game show’s executive producer Mike Richards said in an on-air tribute Monday. “It’s what he wanted,” Richards said as he honored Trebek for his kindness, desire to learn, and devotion to his family. “He loved this show and everything it stood for.” Trebek taped 35 new episodes in the weeks before his death, and they will air as schedule through next month. The beloved host died on Sunday after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
