With her shotgun divorce and reality-TV empire, Kim Kardashian is hardly America’s Sweetheart—but her particular brand of reality inanity is drawing the ire of fellow stars, flour-bombers and an entire country too. From the woman who dumped a load of white flour all over Kim to Jon Hamm calling her an ‘(expletive) idiot,’ see more people who aren’t buying into the Kardashian kraze.

In a new interview with The Guardian, Bourne Legacy star Jeremy Renner confessed that he is not a fan of the Kardashian clan. The Oscar-nominated actor said of the brood, “Oh, all those ridiculous people with zero talent who spend their lives making sure everyone knows their name. Those stupid, stupid people!” The Hurt Locker actor said he couldn’t understand the desire to be famous and shared his own humble beginnings: “One minute I’m homeless. The next I’m still homeless, but I’m in a tuxedo, on my way to the Oscars, stopping at a coffee shop to brush my teeth because I don’t have running water.”

When Kim Kardashian told her makeup artist last night that she wanted more powder on her face, this probably isn’t what she had in mind. While at a promotional party for her new fragrance True Reflections last night at the London Hotel in West Hollywood, a woman (thought to be an anti-fur activist) hurled white powder all over the reality star and allegedly cried out, “Fur hag!” Paramedics were called to the scene but it turns out the mystery powder was just flour. “That is the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened to me,” Kardashian later told E! Online. PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) insists it was not responsible for the attack, but still said smugly to TMZ, “Whoever threw that flour may reach her when our polite appeals did not.”

It’s hard to imagine the aloof and supercool Don Draper blowing his top over something as trivial as reality TV, but Kim Kardashian seems to have brought out the worst in Jon Hamm, who plays Draper on AMC’s Mad Men. In an interview with Elle UK, Hamm let rip his feelings on America’s celeb-centric culture. “Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated,” he told the magazine. “Being a fucking idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly.” But Kim’s not the only one Hamm cut down to size—he also turned an honest eye onto himself, expressing confusion over his legions of female admirers. “I don’t even consider myself handsome,” he said. “When I look in the mirror, I see my goofy-assed self from when I was a kid.”

As president, Barack Obama knows how to diplomatically stay away from calling Kim Kardashian expletive-laden names, but first lady Michelle Obama outed his distaste for the Kardashian franchise anyway. Michelle told iVillage last year that when it comes to the time that daughters Sasha and Malia spend watching television, "Barack really thinks some of the Kardashians—when they watch that stuff—he doesn't like that as much.” However, the first lady did make sure to highlight certain educational qualities about watching the Kardashians—as long as children understand that the on-screen antics are exactly what not to do in real life: “But I sort of feel like if we're talking about it, and I'm more concerned with how they take it in—what did you learn when you watched that. And if they're learning the right lessons, like, that was crazy, then I'm like, okay."

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Jon Hamm isn’t the first actor to use his choice description for the reality princess. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo star Daniel Craig set the precedent when he talked to British GQ about the ridiculousness of reality stars asking for “privacy” from the public. "It is a career; I'm not being cynical,” he told the magazine. “And why wouldn't you? Look at the Kardashians, they're worth millions. Millions! I don't think they were that badly off to begin with, but now look at them. You see that and you think, 'What, you mean all I have to do is behave like a fucking idiot on television and then you'll pay me millions?’” The answer, as he probably knows, is yes.

Thanks to serial rapper-dater Amber Rose, Kim Kardashian can also add “home wrecker” to the list of names she’s been called. In an interview with Star magazine, Rose lashed out at the reality star, who allegedly caused the breakup between Rose and her former beau, Kanye West. According to Rose, Kardashian sent pictures of herself to Kanye while he and Rose were still dating (to make matters worse, Kim apparently was dating football star Reggie Bush at the time). “They were both cheating,” Rose told the magazine. “They were both cheating with me and Reggie with each other.” Rose later made a quasi-apology of sorts for calling Kim names, saying she had only used the term “home wrecker” out of frustration—because, in her words, “I’m about women empowerment.”

When in song, musician Michael Bublé is a first-class act, but at an iHeartRadio Live concert last November, the crooner showed some classic Kardashian cattiness. According to the New York Post, while onstage between songs, Bublé jokingly called out, “Ladies and gentlemen, I have a very special guest. Please welcome Kim Kardashian!” His audience then gasped, presumably in either excitement or horror, before Bublé revealed the prank and said, “Nah, just fucking with you! That bitch isn’t coming on my stage.” The singer then continued the joke into his next song, a cover of Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good,” by dedicating the song to Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian and tweaking the lyrics to say, “She hurt him, she hurt him! I wish she had hurt me!”

Singer Mariah Carey also apparently isn’t immune to the temptation to crack Kardashian jokes. While at a press conference last November, just days after Kim’s now-notorious divorce from Kris Humphries, the mother of two talked about her marriage to actor Nick Cannon. “Sometimes we make each other mad, that’s why we’re not divorced after four months.” According to Us magazine, the crowd then “audibly gasped,” catching the riff on Kardashian’s recent divorce. Carey then apologized (sort of) and said, “I’m sorry, I’m just saying.” Though she perhaps should have also made a correction—Kim’s marriage lasted more like two and a half months.

Rapper Snoop Dogg is not one to keep his opinions to himself—naturally, he had a lot to contribute to the national discourse on Kim Kardashian’s divorce. “You shouldn’t have tried to wife the bitch,” he said in a video, presumably addressing Kris Humphries. “She’s cold-blooded. I’m pretty sure she’ll have a book in a month talking about all the n----rs that she got and how she played them. So, my advice is you can’t make a ho a housewife. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel.”

Community star Joel McHale has also had some choice words for the Kardashians. Apart from calling Bruce Jenner (the Kardashian girls’ stepfather) a “drag-queen scarecrow” while talking to Conan O’Brien on his Late Night show, McHale also made light of his habit of talking about Kim’s sex tape on his pop-culture-bashing show, The Soup—this despite E! network executives ordering him not to (the network is also home to several Kardashian-starring shows). Having the Kardashians as enemies doesn’t seem to bother the actor, though. “I know the Kardashians don’t like me,” McHale said last August in an interview with Just Jared, before going on to describe how reality stars often are actually grateful for being featured on his show. “Reality stars without exception have come up to me and have said ‘Thank you for making fun of me’ … With the Kardashians we’re not allowed to say they have a sex tape anymore because the network flips out.”

Ray J, the R&B singer romantically linked to Whitney Houston in her final days, could easily be credited as the man who started the Kardashian craze. He was the other starring half of the infamous Kim sex tape, which arguably boosted Kim’s career into prominence in 2007. From his willingness to sell her out in his tell-all book, Death of the Cheating Man, however, it can be inferred that relations between the two have gone sour since then. In the book, Ray J claims that Kim (referred to as “KK”) seduced him, then slept with him while she was still married to her first husband, Damon Thomas, in 2004. Things got too extreme for Ray J, however, when she allegedly tapped his phone and “started going to extremes” to monitor his behavior. He then admits to cheating on Kim because, as he put it, he believed she had been cheating on him too. “I had no respect for her. I wanted more for my life … [to] find a woman that I could actually trust.”

Kris Humphries has more reason than most to hate on Kim Kardashian—she did, after all, divorce him after only 72 days (allegedly without even telling him first!)—but he’s kept remarkably mum on the matter so far. A Good Morning America interview last year, for example, featured Humphries persistently deflecting news host Josh Elliott’s never-ending string of Kim-related questions. But TMZ recently reported that Kris is demanding a whopping $7 million in order to keep the quiet-guy routine up. We’re guessing not all is forgiven after all.

Plenty of celebrities are less than admired by their peers, but only a few can boast the hatred of an entire country. Kim Kardashian can do what only few can, at least according to some reports. During the reality star’s “mercy mission” to Haiti last December, she allegedly refused to ditch her high-luxury lifestyle, staying in $1,000-a-night hotels, wearing expensive clothing, and, rather than visiting an orphanage, having the orphans bused in to meet her instead. Kim’s insensitive actions allegedly attracted the ire of Oprah, who also was in Haiti at the time and supposedly said to a friend, “I think Kim is a phony.”
