US Airways passengers headed from Philadelphia to Dallas were given a scare when their jet was called back to the airport because of an anonymous tip that liquid explosives were on board. According to an FBI spokesman, Flight 1267 left Philadelphia at 8 a.m., but returned less than an hour later “due to a report of a suspicious item on board.” Local TV stations showed video of authorities removing a person from the flight and police dogs on the tarmac as passengers were bused away. Police vehicles were seen surrounding the plane.
