Joe Jonas Candid About Sex, Drugs

And shares reasons behind band's breakup.

Fans were shocked when the Jonas brothers canceled their tour and announced they'd be splitting for good, but Joe Jonas said the breakup was going on for a lot longer than many thought. "We hit a place where we just weren’t jelling on the same things. The whole situation was breaking us up as a family, and we ultimately felt like we were holding each other back," he told New York Magazine. The 24-year-old singer also divulged bits about his sex life, revealing that he lost his virginity at 20, but "did other stuff before then," and the time he first experimented with smoking weed with Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato: "I must have been 17 or 18. They kept saying, “Try it! Try it!” so I gave it a shot, and it was all right."
