According to multiple outlets' projections, Ohio Gov. John Kasich won his home state's primary on Tuesday evening, handing Donald Trump a huge loss in the 2016 presidential race. The winner-takes-all Ohio race hands Kasich 66 delegates, which political analysts consider enough to help prevent Trump from entering this summer's Republican National Convention with enough backers to lock up the party's nomination. Early projections placed Kasich at 40+ percent of the vote, defeating Trump who placed second with nearly 10 percentage points less.
