Johnny Depp went full Jack Sparrow at the Hollywood Film Awards on Friday, where he was set to introduce Mike Myers’ documentary Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon. Depp wobbled up on stage (where, before launching into his speech, he remarked, “That’s the weirdest microphone I’ve ever seen in my life”), slurred his way through a speech, then meandered for a bit before forgetting what he was talking about. “I mean, it’s one of those nights,” Depp said before CBS cut him off. Backstage, Variety reports that Myers called the speech “very rock n’ roll.”
