Embattled actor Jonathan Majors was candid about the toll his assault and harassment trial and convictions have taken on his new wife’s career. Majors wed actress Meagan Good on Tuesday, he revealed this week on his concurrent redemption and promotional tour for new movie Magazine Dreams. And on Friday’s The Breakfast Club admitted that Good “took so many hits” for standing by his side. Good was a working actress for decades before Majors entered the public sphere, but attracted bewilderment from fans as she accompanied Majors to his trial for assaulting his ex-girlfriend. “I don’t think she’d mind me saying, they weren’t announcing it, but she lost endorsements…we got uninvited to stuff. She got uninvited to stuff because she had shown just how down she was,” Majors said on the morning show. “They knew if Megan’s coming, Jay’s coming—I’m coming,” he explained. Good previously revealed that “every friend” advised her not to date Majors. On Tuesday, the day after audio was released that allegedly reveals Majors' admission to “strangling” his ex, the couple married with only their mothers present.
