As CEO of The RealReal, Julie Wainwright has built an empire around raiding people's closets. Here, she shares with us a few of her favorite things -- from her "West Highland Terrorists" to a coveted pair of Manolos. My Niece and Nephews. Here we are celebrating my twin nephews’s graduations from high school. Jonah is on the left, then Lauren, my niece, myself, and Jacob. Jonah and Jacob just graduated from high school and have decided to go to different colleges, IU and Miami of Ohio. This will be the first time the twins have been separated. It should be a great opportunity for them to grow beyond being known as “The Wainwright Twins.” My Favorite Shoe of the Season, which are Manolos. I saw this shoe at Bergdorf’s and fell a little in love with it. Looking forward to buying it when it arrives at The RealReal – any day now…. My Dogs, Louie and Betty. This is the view I have every night as I walk down my steps. Two little love buckets saying hello. Louie is on the left and Betty is on the right. My Dad and his wife. My father, Jim Wainwright, ran his own art and design firm for over 35 years in South Bend, Indiana – he is now designing women’s shoes for a company in St. Louis. He’s old school – does illustrations each week by hand that are amazing. He is here with Bobbie, whom he married about 5 years after my mother passed away. Bobbie was his childhood sweetheart. He saw again at a high school reunion and fell in love all over again. We all adore her and are thankful he found her again. The view from my home inspires me every morning . This is the view from my bedroom window. There are a few days a year when I am above the fog line and it is magical. Normally, I see the sun rise over the East Bay hills which I love. The RealReal's first shipment on a sale day! This was two years ago. We had to convince the UPS guy to come back later in his route as we weren’t prepared for the first day of shipping on a big sale day. He knew we were a start-up and were a bit disorganized, so he accommodated us. We shipped out over 200 boxes that day!
