It's not been a good few months for Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer. His Washington home was broken into recently, but no one was home at the time and a housekeeper discovered the burglary on May 4. The burglar took a pair of $500 silver candlesticks and a 100-piece set of silver valued at $2,500. This follows an incident in February, when a man wielding a machete broke into Breyer’s Caribbean vacation home and took about $1,000 in cash.
