With lyrics like “Black girl sippin’ white wine/Put my fist in her like a civil-rights sign” and “I am a god ... Hurry up with my damn croissants,” Kanye West’s new album, Yeezus, was bound to piss someone off. The first group—though surely not the last—to publicly take issue with the self-professed rap god’s latest album is the American Parkinson Disease Association, which has called out the lyric “A monster about to come alive again/Soon as I pull up and park the Benz/We get this bitch shaking like Parkinson’s.” The association’s vice president told TMZ, “We find these lyrics distasteful and the product of obvious ignorance.” The Yeezus camp has yet to respond.
