Paranormal encounters aren’t unusual, but having sexual experiences with ghosts? That’s a bit out there. It actually has a quasi-scientific explanation. In the world of dream research, an incubus encounter is an experience where you’re awakened while sleeping, but have hallucination-like visions. Sometimes these encounters fall a little to the X-rated side of the spectrum. It can be terrifying, or, as these celebrities have found…enjoyable? These stars are fine with sharing their sexual ghost encounters with the public.

What would Charlie say? In 1999, Lucy Liu told Us Weekly that during a nap on her couch she had felt a supernatural presence on top of her and had a quick ... well, session, with it. “It was sheer bliss,” she remembered. “I felt everything. I climaxed. And then he floated away.” Keep in mind, this was the ’90s.

Leave it to wild-child pop star Ke$ha to speak openly about having sex with a ghost. What’s more—she so enjoyed her naughty otherworldly encounter that she wrote a song about it. “Supernatural” was based on “having sexy time with a ghost,” as she delicately put it on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show. “I had a couple of experiences with the supernatural. I don’t know his name! He was a ghost! I’m very open to it.” It brings a whole new meaning to her song’s lyrics “Tonight we’re gonna wake the dead.”

Spooning with a ghost isn’t quite sexual, but it’s further than we’d go. Ghostbusters star Dan Aykroyd is so used to ghostly encounters that he didn’t find it strange when a supernatural being entered his bed one night. In fact, he snuggled closer, even after realizing it probably was the man who died in his bedroom before he owned the house. “Not meaning to discriminate, I just wiggled right up next to him, and it was a rump-to-rump sleep for the night, and I slept quite fine,” he told Contact Music.

Can we say we’re surprised that Anna Nicole Smith is on this list? Not quite. In 2004 the Playboy model turned actress revealed to FHM Magazine that she used to have sex with a ghost back when she lived in Texas. She first thought it was her boyfriend, but “then one day I woke up and found it wasn’t,” she remembered. “I was freaked out about it, but then I was, like, well, you know what? He’s never hurt me, and he just gave me some amazing sex, so I have no problem.”

On a trip to Graceland with her ex-boyfriend, Boardwalk Empire star Paz de la Huerta got more than an informational tour. She’d always been infatuated with Elvis, she told The New York Times Magazine, and standing in his recording studio, she could sense him. “I felt him touch me. I felt his spirit go through me and give me pleasure,” she remembered. “It was like Elvis was tickling me with a feather.” Sounds like the King of Rock and Roll hasn’t lost his touch.

There’s at least one frisky ghost who isn’t afraid of Ice-T. His wife of 11 years, Coco Austin, once had an usual encounter with a “perverted” ghost. “I was watching TV, I was sitting on the couch at 11 a.m., and I was wearing a nightie, and I felt my dress move up my leg,” Coco recalled on the talk show Naughty But Nice. “I looked down and got freaked out. I pushed it down, watched TV, felt it again, and I could see it being pulled up. And then I felt a guy breathing in my ear.” This wasn’t Austin’s first ghostly encounter either—an entity visited in her tub before. Thankfully, her husband doesn’t believe in ghosts, which keeps them away now.
